Saturdays

Time: 6:00am – 8:30 am
Location: Summerfield Community Park Pavilion in Lakewood Ranch

Run Description: The Pavilion is located about 1/4-mile south of SR70 on Lakewood Ranch Blvd in Summerfield Community Park. The current route winds through Summerfield, Riverwalk, and Country Club neighborhoods. At its longest, the route is 10 to 14 miles. We have water stations throughout the course. At the end, we have water and Gatorade (and sometimes eats – bananas, fruit, cookies, bagels, etc.) and share conversation. Come join us!

 

Tuesdays and Thursdays

Time: 5:30 am – 6:30 am
Location: Summerfield Community Park Pavilion in Lakewood Ranch

Run Description:  We meet here every Tuesday and run through various parts of Lakewood Ranch. At its longest, the route is about 6-miles. There is water at approximately 2, 4, and 5 miles.

Tuesdays and Thursdays

Time: 4:45am – 6:15am
Location: Summerfield Community Park Pavilion in Lakewood Ranch

We meet here every Tuesday and Thursday.  We had toward to Country Club, so if you are running late, you can pick up the group as we pass the Braden River Nature park.

Tuesday Evening Run

Time: 5:45 pm
Location: Earth Fare – Lakewood Ranch

Earth Fare has kindly offered to provide free samples to runners after our post-run stretch. Meet at 5:45 for optional 15 min. warmup run, followed by dynamic warmup exercises, 15 minute cool-down after. Begins at 6:05 by outdoor tables. Loops behind Earth Fare to Rangeland Pkwy. Bring a towel &/or mat for post run stretch. Led by AFAA certified personal trainer/40-year runner.

5:45 pm Meet Earth Fare Entrance on Left
5:50 15 min. warm-up run around parking lot
6:05 10 min. dynamic warm-up exercises
6:15 Run 3.1 mile route at your own pace
7:00-7:15 Grab towel/mat from car for 10 min cool-down/stretch
7:15ish Meet at inside smoothie bar for freebie goodies and anything you want to buy.

Will eat/drink outside at tables, weather permitting. If not, inside.
Warm-ups, cool-downs optional, but recommended. If you want to run more miles, feel free to come earlier on your own.

Sidewalks are new and therefore as smooth as street. Most streets are lit, and as daylight increases, this is a non-issue. Feel free to stay on only lighted areas. Use caution and pay attention to traffic. Streets so new not all on GPS.
